The Azores don't sit still, and neither will you. Over six days, you'll move by foot and by ferry between Faial and Pico, islands shaped by fire and worn smooth by the Atlantic. You'll walk a caldera rim, descend into a lava cave, stand in vineyards that grow straight out of volcanic rock, and drift alongside whales on their own migration path.

This isn't a tour. It's a crossing - and you'll spend 12 weeks getting summit-ready, trail-ready, and ready for whatever the Atlantic hands you.

Two Islands, One Current. No hopping between generic stops. You'll travel the way locals do - by foot and ferry, through volcanic landscapes, into villages still shaped by fishing and whaling rather than tourism.

Ocean and Earth, Both Earned. Hike a caldera rim, descend near lava caves, walk vineyards grown straight out of volcanic rock - then trade the trail for a chartered boat, out on the water for whale and wildlife watching.

  • No - that's what the 12-week training program is for. We meet you where you are and build from there.

  • The arc is built with intensity and recovery in mind - endurance, then depth, then a full day on the water. Your guide team adjusts pace to the group.

  • Faial and Pico. We travel between them by ferry, staying in small, locally owned accommodations.

  • Flying in: Arrive into Horta on Faial - direct flights run from Lisbon, and if you're coming from the U.S., Boston and New York connect through Ponta Delgada with a short hop over to Horta.

    Flying out: Depart from Pico, with direct flights back to Lisbon to close out the trip.

    Once you're here: All ferries between islands and local transfers throughout the trip are included - no logistics to manage once you land. Just show up and hike.
