Join the VITAL Kilimanjaro Adventure

Mount Kilimanjaro isn't just Africa's highest point — it's the proof you carry home. Twelve weeks of expert-led training gets your legs, lungs, and mindset summit-ready. Then, under a full moon, your crew climbs through the night to stand on the roof of Africa at sunrise.

12 weeks of expert-led training → summit-ready for Africa's highest peak.

Investment starts at $8,400 · full pricing and payment plan in the free Adventure Guide.

Why This Adventure

There's a moment near the top when the sky turns from black to violet to gold, and you're standing above the clouds on the roof of Africa — climbed there under your own power, by moonlight, alongside the crew who trained beside you for twelve weeks.

You'll move through five climate zones in eight days: rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, arctic. You'll stand at the base of the Barranco Wall. You'll watch Mount Meru rise out of the clouds from Shira 2 Camp. And on summit night — under October's full moon — you'll cross the crater rim as the sky turns to sunrise.

This is the adventure that makes you ask what else you're capable of.

The Vital Difference

Kilimanjaro doesn't care how fit you were last year — it cares how ready you are on summit night. Here's how we get you there.

Level III — High-Endurance Trek

Eight days of trekking — up to 14km and 6+ hours in a single day — across five climate zones, capped by a 12+ hour overnight push to 5,895 meters. No technical climbing skills required. This is about stamina, altitude resilience, and mental grit — exactly what your training program is built to deliver.

It’s For You If You’re:

  • Willing to commit to 12 weeks of structured training before departure

  • Comfortable hiking 5–8 hours a day, several days in a row

  • Ready to embrace basic camping — tents, camp meals, no showers — for a week

  • Up for pushing through real discomfort — cold nights, thin air, tired legs — for a sunrise at the top of Africa

  • Looking for a serious physical and mental challenge, not a guided sightseeing trip

Your Stay

You'll spend your first and last nights at Aishi Machame Hotel, tucked into the green foothills of Kilimanjaro. It's simple, comfortable, and exactly where you want to be — resting before the climb, recovering with a hot shower and a real bed after it. Gardens full of birdsong, a pool for tired legs, and a full-moon send-off that ties the whole trip together: you'll summit the night of the actual full moon, October 3rd.
